Over the past 35 years as a Consulting Forestry provider, we have administered Timber Sales for over 200 client properties. WHY HIRE A CONSULTING FORESTER ?
A Consulting Forester should: Advise on the timber resource management of your woodland to meet the landowners goals. These goals usually include sustained timber production, forest health, wildlife habitat, diversity, recreation, salvage, good stewardship, environmental protection along with periodic income.

Secure reliable Buyer through advertising and sealed bids. In some cases the landowner may wish to have timber sale negotiated with a particular Buyer.

HIRING A CONSULTING FORESTER
Most Consultants administer timber sales for a percentage of sale price. Documented appraisals for legal or real estate valuation are done on a hourly fee basis.
Obviously you should choose a Consulting Forester that has experience. The more experience the better. We have 50 years local Forestry experience as a practicing Forester. We have as much and probably more Forestry experience than any others Consultants in Central Pennsylvania.
